Attached are the instructions for the PEO Scholar Award for graduate females. Please distribute this as appropriate for your college's selection process.
These scholarships are one-time competitive, merit-based awards for United States or Canadian women who are either pursuing a doctoral level degree or engaged in postgraduate study or research. These awards provide partial support for study and research for women who will make significant contributions in their varied fields of study.
PEO Scholar Award nominations are due to Kristy Anderson no later than Noon, Thursday, October 22. Nominations may be submitted in person to 213 Heaton Hall, by mail to TAMU 4222, or electronically to kanderson@tamu.edu.
Nominated students must be available the first two weeks of November for on campus interviews. The interviews are conducted by PEO staff members.
