Principal of October STEM High School for Boys Responsibilities Basic responsibilities inside my school include:

1- Establish a school vision of commitment to high standards

2-  Cultivate leadership in others through distributed leadership

3-  Improve instruction and encourage professional development of the faculty through regular classroom observations and teachers‟

evaluations

4-  Being the Administrative Manager of the Board of Trustees by

position, I discuss with the head of the board and other members school expectations and challenges and we set action plans to be carried out by sub-committees.

5-  Being Students‟ Counselor, I provide college guidance to senior students and assist them in the process of their admission. I also write letters of recommendations and submitting Common App students „evaluations.

Basic responsibilities outside my school include:

Technology for Improved Outcomes (TILO) is a project funded by USAID in public formal language schools in seven governorates all over Egypt. It aims at using integrated technology to improve the educational learning outcomes of the students.

TILO Teacher Trainer Responsibilities

  1. 1-  Develops a professional development calendar to train all the school teachers on how to use technology effectively in their classrooms.

  2. 2-  Assists teachers plan and create lesson plans that integrate technology in their lessons to promote students‟ understanding and encourage implementing high cognitive levels of different subject areas.

  3. 3-  Schedules classroom observation for teachers that includes pre and post observation coaching

  4. 4-  Ensure the quality and consistency of training through discussions and feedback.
