All Day Gig 'Em Week is full of events and opportunities for new and returning students to become familiar or reacquainted with the TAMU campus, fellow Aggies, and the Bryan/College Station community. Gig 'Em Week is coordinated by the Office of New Student Programs and provides students an opportunity to learn more about the campus, each other, and college life in general through a series of educational and social events sponsored by university departments, colleges, student organizations, residence halls, and community members. Students may pick up a Gig 'Em Week schedule at Residence Hall check-in or online.

All Day - Sorority Row Sorority recruitment is a mutual selection process that is filled with activities designed to offer prospective members the chance to learn about the sororities in a concentrated period of time. It is an opportunity for students to meet the sorority members, ask questions, define financial obligations, time commitments, and membership requirements.Whether or not you decide to join a Sorority, formal recruitment is a great way to meet people and get acquainted with life at Texas A&M University. Check out what sorority life has to offer. Formal Recruitment is Sunday, August 23rd through Friday, August 28th. The schedule of events is:Convocation ? Sunday August 23rdo Convocation is orientation for recruitment. Women will receive their tee shirt, meet their Rho Gamma group, and learn about the week that is before them.Day One, Go Greek! ? Monday, August 24tho Women will attend events at all 12 chapters.Day Two, Philanthropy ? Tuesday, August 25tho Women will attend a maximum of nine events.Day Three, Sisterhood Showcase ? Wednesday, August 26tho Women will attend a maximum of six events.

7:00AM to 5:00PM The 57th Annual Fall Leadership Conference will be held at Camp Allen on August 25-27, 2009 for all TAMU student leaders. FLC is a great place to gear up for the academic year by networking with fellow student leaders and learning from inspiring speakers. Early registration is $95 from April 20 - June 1, 2009. Regular registration is $120 and ends on August 8, 2009.
